PTO
We have 10 Paid company holidays which include the day before Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas to name a few.
We have Paid Time Off – PTO benefits to help even out our work life and our real life.
Each team member, based on their years of service are given a certain amount of paid time off (vacation, sick, personal days all rolled into one plan). We fully encourage our team to use their entire PTO allotment because we know there are other things more important outside of this building.
We want you to take the time off, just make sure to schedule it in advance. Enjoy that family vacation, hunting with your group or the weekend getaway with friends. We know you will come back refreshed.
Profit Sharing and 401(k)
We have a Profit Sharing, 401k and 401k match for our team members. Profit Sharing is what the company gives to the team members after we close the year. When we are profitable, a portion is shared with the team. The 401k is where a team member puts in their own money towards their retirement and the match is what Lakeside contributes to help the team members hit financial goals.
Need for Wheels Program
Our Need-for-Wheels Program is very popular especially when unexpected expenses occur with our vehicles. Need a new car, your battery die or your need new tires? Not to worry, you can borrow up to $1,500 interest free from Lakeside to cover the expense and pay it back by payroll deductions. Now you can make it to work and other destinations safely!
Safety Shoe and Glasses Reimbursement
To keep your feet and eyes safe we offer a reimbursement policy for safety shoes and glasses.
Steel toe safety shoes are a requirement to be out in our manufacturing areas, so each year we will reimburse you up to $125 for a pair of steel-toed safety shoes. We even have the Shoe Mobile come each summer and set up a walk-in store right on our receiving dock!
Safety glasses are also a requirement to be out in our manufacturing areas. We provide non-prescription safety glasses for everyone. If you need prescription safety glasses, we will reimburse you up to $200 every other year for a pair.
Team Member Referral Program
Referrals earn you money! You are our best recruiter because you know what it takes to be successful here. You can even earn some money for referring someone we hire.
Lakeside Manufacturing, Inc. is always looking for good people, and you can help.
Research has shown, and our own experience supports this, new hires that comes into a company through team member referrals are excellent contributors, stay with the company longer and are a more cost effective recruit. That’s where you come in! If you know someone who would be a good addition to Lakeside and they meet the qualifications for an existing open requisition, it may be worth $1,500 if you refer them for employment and they are hired!
Flu Shot Clinic
Lakeside offers a free flu shot clinic to team members and anyone on their medical insurance plan. Clinics are held at the Lakeside location.
Tuition Reimbursement Program

Student Scholarship Program
Lakeside is proud to reward our team member’s children each year with our scholarship program.
Our students may be eligible for a scholarship based on the following criteria:
• Team Members must be full-time and have completed one year of service
• Team Members’ child(ren) must be unmarried, legal dependant(s) of the Team Member
• Dependents must be registered and attending a qualified educational institution at the time of application and when scholarships are awarded
• Dependents must be enrolled in a Bachelor/Master Degree Program or an Associate/Technical Degree program
• Dependents must be age 25 or younger
Assistance Program
Life can sometimes throw a curve ball that you weren’t expecting. That is why we partnered up with Impact Solutions to provide professional level assistance to team members and their family. Lakeside pays the cost of this benefit and many of our team members have taken advantage of the professional assistance.
Typical uses of our Assistance Program include:
Sudden death of a loved one
